A31 Ferndown/West Moors (Dorset) – Safety Barrier Renewal – UPDATE
Further to our email below, we are writing to advise that after re-evaluating traffic flows since the start of the school holiday period, work to replace sections of safety barrier on the A31 eastbound carriageway has been postponed. Traffic flows are much higher than levels predicted primarily due to increased staycations.
Work was originally scheduled to take place between Monday 9 August and Thursday 9 September 2021, however this will now take place after work on the A31 westbound carriageway has been completed.
Work along the A31 westbound carriageway is still scheduled to take place between Thursday 9 September and Wednesday 20 October 2021.
All closures are overnight between 9pm and 6am, Monday to Friday only.
